#WeeklyDevotion - Salt & Light

Matthew 5:16 "Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works and glorify your Father in heaven".       Growing up, any time I would have a bad/scary dream or a nightmare I would instinctively jump out of bed and flip the switch to put on the lights. I would then take a deep breath - whoosah - and somehow there was such an assurance "relax Karsh, you're safe". I kinda still do that now and it's interesting how I manage to get to the switch in a millisecond even right in the middle of very deep sleep. My mind is assured that once the lights come on, everything's good. As born again believers in a seemingly dark world where there is so much happening that is discouraging, frightening and most of all, the uncertainty that always looms, we are called to shine our lights so bright and give light to all who come into contact with us.  Matthew 5:14-15 "You are the light of the world.
