Stop Seeking Man's Approval For God's Instructions

I was in a meeting this past weekend and the pastor said something that "pinched me". 

"Why are you desperately looking for man's approval for God's instructions?"

Honestly that stopped me in my tracks, coz yooh!! Many are the times I have put obedience on hold just to CONFIRM what God said and not from Him - from others!!
 

One time I found myself in my pastor's office, fuming cause I felt God was taking too long to respond and blatantly told him to go ask his God exactly what He wants cause I was done. "Mr. Pastor, you are 'closer' to God so maybe you will get a response faster that I would. 

LOOOL!!☺☺☺☺

Oh the folly of a desperate soul.

I know better

Since I know better, I want to encourage you to stay with God until you hear Him clearly. 

In the quietness and stillness of your soul, you will hear Him. 

God can be trusted. 

Isaiah 30:21 "And your ears shall hear a word behind you, saying 'this is the way, walk in it, when you turn to the right or when you turn to the left".
