#WeeklyDevotion - Christ Like Character

Happy New Month.                  Welcome to September 2020. Please, do me a favor. Stop whatever it is you are doing, stretch your right hand over your shoulder and pat yourself on the back☺☺☺. Done? Let out a loud shabach, jump up and down and dance as hard as you can. See, you've made it through 8 months of 2020. No matter how crazy it has been, the Lord has sure kept you and here you are heading into the last quarter of 2020.  Isn't God amazing??  Now that I have pleasantries outta the way, allow me get into this week's devotion -  Christ Like Character . This has been on my mind lately especially now that the church is entering into a very interesting season. If you are sensitive spiritually then you can tell that there is one sound coming out of the church - "Time is running out, we need to depopulate hell & populate heaven". Matthew 9:37 "Then He said to His disciples, 'The harvest is truly plentiful, but the laborer...

New Beginnings

Happy New Month. Welcome to August. Month Number 8 - The Number of New Beginnings.  It's amazing that we have only four months left to the end of 2020 and I'm super stoked that we still have a chance to make something great & awesome out of this year that has seemingly been gloomy and has been cancelled by many - well aside from me. I still haven't cancelled 2020 and I have no plans of cancelling it.  Romans 8:28 "And we know that all things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are called according to His purpose" . Job, in the midst of his trials affirmed this.  Job 42:2 "I know that you can do all things; n purpose of yours can be thwarted" .  As I reflect on New Beginnings, I'm drawn to Isaiah 43:18-19 " Do not remember the former things, nor consider the things of old. Behold, I wil...

Do Not Worry

Matthew 6:34 "Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own". So, it's almost 2 Months since the first case of Covid 19 was reported in Kenya and I must admit that it has been difficult adjusting to the new way of life - Social Distancing, Limited Movement - Staying Home, Wearing Face Masks & a Ban on Social Gatherings which has by far had the most impact - a life with no family/friend get togethers, no church services, no parties et al. The first few weeks after that first announcement were not so bad. I was very optimistic that things will not be as bad and we shall be back to normal soon enough. I was like that Duracell bunny, I just kept going. My energy levels were literally through the roof and I constantly kept encouraging myself and anyone who cared to listen. I was confidently telling everyone to relax and stop worrying cause for sure God has got this thing figured out. Covid 19 definitely ...
