ForeverKindaLove

The month of love went by so fast, can we please have a rewind?? Or may be I should just wait for 11 more months huh!!!! Anyhuu, to wrap up the #ForeverKindaLove series of posts, just a little reminder - Love should be celebrated all day, everyday. Don't wait for that just one day in a year to shower your mpenzi with love. How about some random thoughts/lessons on matters love that I have picked up along this adventure called life :-). You are on nobody's schedule but your own and you have to relax and allow God to help you figure out exactly what the next step in your relationship is. Stop putting so much pressure on yourself and your partner worrying about the slow/fast progression of your relationship. Some people date for 1 year and feel they are ready to get into marriage whereas others date for 5+ years and still feel they are not ready to get into marriage. Whatever the case, commit everything to God as He is the author of your life and will guide you on exactly wha...

Happy Valentines :-). 14th February is finally here!!!! I know not all of us look forward to the day, especially judging by the many memes and puns doing rounds on Social media giving crazy tips to the male species on how to avoid falling for a damsel in distress this Valentines. One that really tickled me was of this Talking Tom with a Nigerian accent  LOOOL :D. For fear of sounding vain, let me just say this - much as I consider myself a hopeless romantic; I DO NOT BELIEVE IN VALENTINES DAY #Boom :-). Thing is, I strongly believe that expressing love and affection to those we hold dear should be an everyday thing. Treasure and treat your loved ones  every other day of the year & if you are able to; throw in a nice surprise every so often. Don't sit around waiting for the 14th February so you can be extravagant & clobber your loved one with mapens. Pray tell though, how can you celebrate love everyday? Does it mean that you need to have a special entry in...

Alice Kimanzi has finally released a video for her jam Waambie. Kimanzi explains that she wrote the song for a friend's wedding which is intended to be a celebration of love as experienced from the bride's perspective. I loved this song the moment I heard it at a Wedding earlier this year. It is now among my favorites and it definitely makes it to my "Banjuka Set" on my big day *Wink*. An expression of simple, honest affection from the heart. *Does My Happy Dance* Usingizi kanitoroka moyoni nakesha ngoma, Kwa subira nimengoja penzi hili la thamana, Tangu tulipokutana nafsi zetu kapatana, Na ni mbali tumetoka tangu kuchumbiana, Siku yetu imefika hakuna 'taye zuia, Ajalie Maulana pete tutavishana, Waambie mie nimeshapatikana, Na yule mume wa mapenzi 'sha nienzi, Waambie mie milele nishazama, Sinitafute kule kwa mabinti nishahama, Angalia Ishara {Angalia} Tazama Ishara {Angalia} Angalia Ishara {Ang...

Vlogging is fast catching on and has become such an interesting avenue for online users to access great content. When I come across a channel that speaks to me, entertains, inspires & challenges me I always subscribe and follow it religiously. One such channel is  Kaelin and Kyrah . Watching their posts and seeing the love they have for each other at only 19 years of age makes me believe that God is raising a remnant for Himself. A generation of young people who value marriage and want to do whatever it will take to ensure that they relate and love each other and finally settle down in God's ordained way.  These two melt my heart :-). As you watch it, I hope it melts your heart too and restores faith that it is possible to have a #ForeverKindaLove :-).  The poem he uses in the video is by  Brent Rice - Crucifixion Type Of Love.  My biggest prayer is to love her right, I want to love her like Christ loved the church, love her like Our Father in hea...

Sooooooooo!!!!! Is anyone feeling this jam right here the way I am???? Hehehe, maybe it's just the hopeless romantic in me that has got me going all giddy listening to this song but King Kaka and Pascal have done an amazing job on this one. What perfect timing for the release seeing as it's the month of love :-) :-) :-). Me nataka niishi na wewe milele,  Me nataka nidensi na wewe milele,  Uwe wangu baby, niwe wako mimi *2, Milele, Milele  Staki ulie, in case ulie nakubembeleza, Wewe wangu hivo ndio Mungu alinitengeneza,  Big up to my mum alinifunza me kupenda, big up, Pia chuki lakini nisitumie tena,  Kama vile bodmas, sijawahi tumia tena
