Gratitude

"Gratitude is one of the most powerful human emotions. Once expressed, it changes attitude, brightens outlook, and broadens our perspective", Germany Kent.

The last couple of weeks, I've been on an intentional gratitude journey. I deliberately set out my QT to just sit and reflect on God's goodness and be thankful. As I looked back at how my life has unfolded this year, I was overwhelmed by God's amazing favor and grace. The last 9 months, God has weaved my life in ways I could never have imagine. I have faced situations where I doubted myself & at times was too scared to take the next step but the Holy Spirit urged me on. When God says that He has your life all figured out, trust me HE DOES. Jeriamiah 29:11 "For I know the plans I have for you," declares the Lord, "plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future". You may not understand how God works, but you need to just trust Him cause all things work together for your good.

When was the last time you reflected on God's goodness? When was the last time you were grateful for God's unfailing love and unending mercy? Have you stopped to say thank you for how things are - whether they are going right/wrong? Have you reflected on God's love lately? As for me, God has been so good to me & done so much I just can't tell it all and even if I had ten thousand tongues it would be enough to express my gratitude. This song captures my heart right about now - Nara by Tim Godfrey Ft. Travis Greene {Btw, how cool is it that Travis is actually rhyming in Igbo}

Isaiah 12: 4 - 6 "Give praise to the Lord, proclaim His name;make know among the nations what He has done, and proclaim that His name is exalted. Sing to the Lord, for He has done glorious things; let this be known to all the world. Shout aloud and sing for joy, people of Zion, for great is the Holy one of Israel among you".
