#21DaysOfGratitude - Day Two

Happy New Month ☺☺☺☺.

Welcome to December. We are officially into the last month of 2021 and by far my most favorite month of the year.

May the Lord do you well as we count down to the end of this year. May the favor and mercy of God locate you as we go through this last month. May the Lord of the 11th hour shine His light on you. Whatever you had trusted God for & is yet to materialize, may there be supernatural speed in it's fruition before we wrap up 2021.

Now that the pleasantries are out of the way, let me get into Day 2 of the #21DaysOfGratitude.

Today I'm grateful for Salvation and in effect Eternal Life. John 3:16 "For God so loved the world, that he gave His only Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have ETERNAL LIFE. That is one of the things that Salvation assures you of. You know where you will spend eternity. There has been an argument that what guarantees do you have that there is actually life after death and that this talk of eternity and eternal life is just pure hogwash. I always say, what I'm assured is on this side of eternity. I have no idea how the other side looks like so if I can do anything to ensure my position/existence on that side while on this side, trust me I will do it. I'd rather live with the consciousness of eternity while here and get to the after life and find out that there really isn't anything much on that side. As opposed to not preparing for eternity by not having Christ as the way and then get to the other side and realize wueh, things are thick.

In case you are reading/listening to this and you have not yet encountered salvation, I would love to encourage to take the bold step and let Christ into your heart and start new life with Him with the assurance that once your time on earth is done, you know where you will spend eternity. It is very simple. Romans 10:9 "that if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved".  It is two pronged. You have to believe it in your heart. What are you believing? You are believing that God raised Christ from the dead. You are believing that God sent His son to come and redeem us and reconcile us back to Himself. That Christ came, He died and He rose from the dead. Then you confess with your mouth. So you cannot say that believe it in your heart and not confess with your mouth and you cannot confess with your mouth and not believe in your heart. You've gotta do both of them together.

May you please accord me the humble privilege of leading you in the salvation prayer even as we are on this Day of the #21DaysOfGratitude.

"Dear Lord, I humbly come before you recognizing that I am a sinner and there is nothing I can do to save myself. I confess that I have lived in sin. Thank you for sending your Son - Jesus Christ to come and die on the cross for my sins. I believe in my heart and I confess with  my mouth. I surrender my life to you and I ask for forgiveness. Take control of my life and help me to live in a way that pleases you. I receive you into my heart as my Lord and Savior. In Jesus Name I pray. Amen".

If you have said this prayer, welcome to this side of the Sahara ☺☺☺. Welcome. It is an amazing life. It is not a life of rules and regulations and a series of do's and dont's. Salvation is just having Christ in your heart and enjoying a relationship with Him. I'd encourage you to get to a Bible believing church and connect with a Spiritual Family where you can grow with in your walk with Christ.

Let's Pray.

Heavenly Father, thank for Day 2 of the #21DaysOfGratitude. Lord today I'm grateful for Salvation and Eternal Life. Thank you for sending your Son to come and die on the cross so that we can be reconciled back to You. Thank you that we know where we will be spending eternity when our time on earth is done. Father Lord for anyone who has said the Salvation prayer, we welcome them into the family of faith. I pray that Lord you may uphold them. May they find a spiritual family that they can connect to and grow in you and grow in your ways. I pray that the Holy Spirit will be alive in their lives. May the Holy Spirit be a beacon for them. That your Word will be a light unto their path and a lamp unto their feet. Father I bless you and I thank you. I give you all the praise and all the glory. I give you all the honor. In Jesus Name I pray.

Remember we are doing #21DaysOfGratitude.

God bless you.

Shalom ☺.
