Happy New Year - #NewBeginnings

 Happy New Year.  *Does Happy Dance* ☺☺☺☺ Welcome to 2023.

It's always such a joy to get another chance to experience a new trip around the Sun. I hope you got to enjoy the festivities and also slow down and spend time with your loved ones. Its now all systems go as we get back to the rat race that is life. As we begin the year, as is always tradition here I like to do declarations to just speak a blessing into the year. With our mouths we shall create the kind of atmosphere we want to see in  2023. Job 22:28 "You will also declare a thing, and it will be established for you.

Genesis 21:6 "And Sarah said, God had brought me laughter and everyone who hears about this will laugh with me".

In 2023, I decree and declare that God will bring me laughter. My testimony will cause others to join me in laughter. 

Isaiah 60:1-3"Arise, shine; for your light has come. And the glory of the Lord is risen upon you. For behold the darkness shall cover the earth and deep darkness the people but the Lord will arise over you and His glory will be seen upon you". 

I decree and declare that I shall arise and shine for my light has come. The glory of the Lord appears over me in Jesus name. 

Isaiah 40:31 "But those who wait on the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings like eagles, they shall run and not be weary, they shall walk and not faint". 

I decree and declare in Jesus name that my strength is renewed. I will not grow weary and I will not faint. 

Psalms 124:7-8 " Our soul has escaped as a bird from the snare of the fowlers. The snare is broken and we have escaped. Our help is in the name of the Lord who made heaven and earth".

I decree and declare that in 2023, my soul has escaped every trap of the enemy. Every snare is broken and I have escaped. I find help in the name of the Lord. 

Psalms 126:1-3 "When the Lord brought back the captivity of Zion, we were like those who dream. Then our mouth was filled with laughter, and our tongue with singing. Then they said among the nations, the Lord has done great things for them. The Lord has done great things for us and we are glad". 

I decree that in 2023, my mouth shall be filled with laughter. My tongue shall be filled with singing. I shall laugh and I shall sing. My life will be a testimony. People will give God glory for the things He has done in my life. 

Colossians 1:9-10 " For this reason we also, since the day we heard it, do not cease to pray for you and to ask that you may be filled with the knowledge of His will in all wisdom and spiritual understanding. that you may walk worthy of the Lord, fully pleasing Him, being fruitful in every good work and increasing in the knowledge of God".

I decree and declare that I am filled with the knowledge of God's will. I decree that I walk worthy of the Lord. I please the Lord in all things. I will be fruitful in every good work. I decree that I grow steadily in the knowledge of God. 

Psalms 92:12-14 "The righteous shall flourish like a palm tree, he shall grow like a cedar in Lebanon. Those who are planted in the house of the Lord shall flourish in the courts of our God. They shall still bear fruit in old age. They shall be fresh and flourishing".

I decree and declare that in 2023, I shall flourish and be fresh. As I stay planted in the house of the Lord I shall grow like the Cedar of Lebanon. I shall still bear fruit in old age. 

Hebrews 13:6 "The Lord is my helper, I will not fear. What can man do to me?"

I decree that in 2023, I am divinely helped by God. I shall not be afraid. 

In Jesus Mighty Name we have made the declarations and decrees for 2023. Amen. 

As 2023 kicks off, I pray that the Lord blesses you and keeps and makes His face shine upon you and establishes you in everything that you set out to do. May He put a new song in your mouth and cause the heavens to shine upon you. The Lord shall do you well this year.
